- Vocal-forward (ducking or low sends)
- Filtered (returns dark, not bright)
- Timed to sections (one move per transition)
- Expensive through ** restraint** — one great wash beats five reverbs

## Produced Path — Rev OCEAN wash

1. Pads/vocal doubles → **Rev OCEAN send** (not lead vocal dry)
2. **Tide** macro up over 2–4 bars before chorus; **decay 2–4 s**; **ducking on**
3. Return **HPF ~250 Hz**, **LPF ~7 kHz**; level low until chorus
4. **Freeze** at peak, then release into chorus downbeat

Taste knobs: **Tide amount**, **send level**.
