## Target

Soft, airy vintage keys — Rhodes/Wurli/Pianet warmth with **breathing dynamics** and tape/plate space. Not a driving groove (see [Scarbee paths in One Dove](../synths-and-production/one-dove-dubby-dream-pop-atmosphere.md)), not noir felt piano (see [Noire in Lana](../synths-and-production/lana-bat-for-lashes-cinematic-electronic.md)). The job: **gentle harmonic color** that floats around the vocal.

The sound should feel:

- Soft and warm (velocity matters)
- Slightly lo-fi (tape, not destroyed)
- Airy in the top (room/plate, filtered)
- Sparse voicings
- Supportive — one chord every few beats is enough
